Bell Co. Schools Historical Marker | This is the site of | CASEY SCHOOL | District No. 19
So named for E.M. and A.T. Casey who deeded land in 1897. In 1885 this district was known as Fisher School District. For a period of over sixty years, this school grew to contain three rooms, three teachers and ten grades. Declining enrollment caused the Casey School to be annexed to Rogers District in 1953.
This marker provided by former pupils, teachers and patrons of Casey School District No. 19 in 1984.
